A FilmSlam is what happens when a diverse group of artists comes together to have a blast sharing their most impressive comedic videos. Be there to laugh, meet some cool people, and see who will take home prizes. Our panel of judges will select winners in a variety of categories in effort to recognize the most outstanding work. Join us for this showcase and celebrate Atlanta’s incredible comedy community.

December Judges
Amber Nash is an Atlanta actor and improvisor who is an ensemble member at Dad's Garage and the voice of Pam Poovey from the FX animated series Archer. Amber got her start in the world of television voiceover when Thompson and Reed cast her in their Adult Swim series Frisky Dingo, where she voiced Val and a number of other characters. Her work on Frisky Dingoled to an offer to voice Pam Poovey.. Amber's most recent project is acting as the lead in the feature film, How to Ruin the Holidays, written by her husband Kevin Gillese and starring local special needs actor Luke Davis, many other Atlanta actors and the international talents of Colin Mochrie, Aisha Tyler Ronnie Chieng.
Heather Breslin has been a producer for over 15 years. Her creative approach is to combine clever stories with detailed execution and she believes films done with excellence can encourage, inspire and effect change. Heather pursues film projects that shine a light on relevant issues through the lens of strong storytelling and dynamic characters. In addition to line producing and developing feature films, Heather produces commercials for national brands such as Delta, Holiday Inn, Mitsubishi, Gorilla Glue and HGTV. She has worked on studio films including Every Other Holiday and Night Club Secrets and indie titles such as The List, Submission and Astral Beacon. Heather enjoys empowering hard working crew/talent and is a firm believer in providing both a safe working environment and a quality final product.
Tripp Crosby is a comedic host, inspirational speaker, and filmmaker. His production company Very Very Video creates high quality comedy commercials and branded content.

The Parlor Show is an avant garde solo sketch comedy show written and performed by Atlanta’s hottest comedians. This is NOT a happy-go-lucky comedy show. We explore the forgotten, the unremarkable, and the seedy dark side of the human experience. When the parlor opens, our cynical humorists will stand alone onstage and dare to entertain you.
There will be music, out-of-this-world characters, and somber schtick that’s guaranteed to make you cry.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS: Attendees are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter the venue. Church Mice is a musical sketch comedy show conceived under a peach tree in Atlanta by a bunch of local comedians during the pandemic. This show is not an indictment on religion. We already know that the stories in the bible can be interpreted six ways to Sunday. But to Love thy neighbor as thyself is a virtue fit in a better world. And when folks gather on Sunday to hear the gospel, things get super weird.
Featuring laugh out loud sketch comedy, live music, singing, dancing, and a host of crazy characters, Church Mice is filled with side splitting laughter performed by a diverse cast of Atlanta’s funniest musical comedians. Enjoy song parodies during the annual Christian talent show, Youth Pastor Chad’s desperate attempts to boost attendance, and watch reverend James get into a fight with a snake.
Church Mice was conceived and directed by Atlanta comedian Will Amato. George N Koulouris is the head writer. Abigail Williams is show captain.

Relive the hilarity and regret of that unforgettable night at Wild Heaven West End Brewery with Prom Night - a Mighty Shorts sketch comedy show written and performed by More Than Cousins. Dress code is prom-chic - whatever that means to you. Dinner and beer can be purchased on site so your limo doesn't have to make two stops. We'll be practicing "safe six" - distancing, masks, sanitizing - but "safe sex" is your responsibility. Dust off that old wallet-condom, grab your mom's credit card and enjoy a night out with a hot date, a friend group or - just come "stag". This live sketch comedy performance is written, performed and directed by the ladies of Mighty Shorts and will take place at the outdoor amphitheater at Ponce City Market (enter from North Ave and it's on your left). Masks are required and our first-come-first-serve seating will be situated six feet part for your enjoyment and safety. Grab a blanket (or chair), a mask, some booze and snacks, sprinkle everything with glitter (because, like, why not?) and come watch us do our lady business.
